Loss of children. Loss of pets. Loss of close relationships. Most of what I fear are things that are out of my control.
I try extremely hard to succeed at most tasks that I undertake. The vision of complete success is what spurs me on. I must admit however that the fear of failure is also a motivator.
What do we fear? The list is endless. But I think pretty much all fears can be put into the category of Loss.
I can't say that fear is active in my life. I look back and see many times my fears were either unfounded or that the situations that generated them were out of my control,hence not worth thinking about. I think a fear is different from something you don't want to happen..that list would be endless and useless.
Dragon.....thats so true....I dont like spiders but I dont think I fear them. I like snakes but I am certainly very respectful of them. I do fear heights........other than that I do not fear much of anything, well maybe pain.
stress in our lives is made up of circumstances we can not control, but we can deal with it....we do not have to let it be stressful. We have the ability to cope if we wish, its a choice.
