I think it is important to preserve things like this as it is becoming a lost art. I have a couple framed in my bedroom and think they are very romantic.

I have photoed a few, but there are more in different shapes and sizes, so it will take longer to go into the attic and get those down, but the first round one is 12- 14 inches across when pressed and starched, the hanky is a 12 inch square both sides, These are just a few that I can show now. Unfortunately mom is unable to do this type stiching any longer, because of her eye sight. She still has 10-15 ball of this type thread for doiles that she herself cannot use, but with the ones that are already done, we have plenty. If you would like some and would pay S/H and a small donation, she can then get more yarn to make baby outfits, which she still is able to make.
