The Eons Insider is Eons' weekly email newsletter that comes out every Wednesday. If you want to opt in and start receiving it, go to your Account Settings (at the top of the page) and then Notifications. The newsletter is the third option down. It's a good way to get site updates and hear about fun things going on in the community.
