AWARENESS DAY~ MAY 12~

Photobucket

Welcome members and guests~Today is an opportunity for all of us to share our knowledge about Fibromyalgia. You might have a friend or family member or even a co worker who has this mysterious syndrome. We welcome you all with friendship support and love. This Eons Group has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few months. We are as one of my Moderators pointed out A real FMily. I welcome everyone to this day of "Awareness"

A few of our motto's:

Fibromyalgia is a part of who I am but it isn't All that I am....

I have Fibromyalgia but it doesn't have me....

Fibromyalgia..Our pain is invisible but we are not..

Fibromyalgia is tough but I'm tougher..

If Fibromyalgia was all in my head I would take an aspirin....

And most of all...We are SURVIVORS not victims..

We are also CHAMPIONS..Here's our Fibro' Group song: please feel free to sing along~

We need to sing today, no matter what is happening in our lives. There is a saying that he who sings, prays twice. I doubt that they had Queen in mind at the time but it works for me.

Happy Awareness Day! I know I am very aware today of my fibro, after a week of partying with the Eons Monkey Group!

I love the praying twice thought...its a joyful noise I make for sure..the week with the Monkeys were a blessing for sure..the after math is just the pain ladled on from the over indulging at time, what a way to go desert for breakfast maybe..had a friend tell me that I could eat desert before my meal..wow that was an awesome thought, I eat so slow I don't even gets seconds and most have had thirds and desert and ready to go so...once in a while its great to have that fun knowing that its just a little less fun after but the laughs and memories made life more bearable..

Freddie Mercury was the best, and sadly died too young from a tragic disease that has taken too many.
What a perfect song for us, good on you!! This song has been running through my mind since I read your post, and it makes me feel happy and cheerful, and full of hope. Thank you Miss T.
