One week to go!!!

I can't belive the time has gone so fast. The caterer and mariachis have been booked. The cake has been ordered. I met with the wedding planner and she is ordering the flowers and the linens table clothes. I still need to order about 6 tables. The yard is still being worked on. The cleaning lady came one day and will return this week. The rings were bought and engraved and they mis-spelled Robertos's name. I have to find a hotel room for his sister and nieces flying in on Saturday from Chicago. I found a cute white sundress to change into after the service. The music for the service is being worked on. My friends husband is singing. The music for the party is going to be put together with the suggestions you guys made.
Anything I have forgotten?? Oh yeah I still need a photographer but my daughter is gonna handle that one. Now as for me.. I am exhausted and just want this to be over. I did all this for my daughters and grandbabies as I felt I at least owed them something to remember this occasion. Am I scared???? Hxxx yeah I am. I feel queasy like when you get on a roller coaster and feel your heart in your throat. I have no doubts as Bob is a great person but after 25 years it is scary to change you life style... Keep
me in your prayers.

All those feelings are because you are on a great adventure! It sounds like everything will be beautiful and your children and grand children will remember it forever!

Yes QVO you did forget something...

Have you not broken the news to him yet that you are NOT a virgin? HORRORS!!!

Sweetie you will be just fine. After all you've been through in your life I think you know that you are ready to make this commitment. I'm sure that Roberto has proven that he is not every mistake you've made and that he loves you very much. Once you get over all the chaos of preparation for the wedding, the moment you say I do, inhale deeply, grab him, kiss him, then exhale all your worries away. Time to sit back, relax and enjoy a lifetime of happiness with the man who was destined for you.

A big abrazo and besito,
Chuleta

Ahh Chuleta... I am a virgin and even if I wasn't I know I can play a good part LOL Need any actresses in your upcoming plays??? Today we went to go get the marriage license. Boy, has that process changed from the last time I got one in 1972. Before they gave you a care package with soap, cream etc. Now they give you a help booklet on how to be married. It has stuff like how to argue, how to handle the children you already have, money issues and conseling numbers. Boy, if divorce didn't cross your mind before it sure will cross your mind when you read that stuff. How times have changed and how society thinks of marriage as a short committment instead of a life time. Oh well...

I'm so excited for you QVo. Wish I could be there! I love weddings especially when I know the couple is soo in love and well suited for each other. Ay! weddings make me cry and give me hope. You know? I have never really found "my true love". I mean, love comes in many different ways and guises but I never had "the one".
But, I was blessed with 2 wonderful sons who are my heart and soul. Oh! I got my dress to wear to the wedding! whew! finally!
