To all moms and those who take the place of a mom.----
How beautiful. Thank you. Because of my life history and disabilities, I have no children. But I taught grade school for many years plus 3 years of clerical skills to disabled adults.
I motivated (often near standing on my head to get attention!) my students to try and enjoy learning new things. My lessons focused on preparing them to be creative and open to changes in life and adapt to them as well as move forward.
There's assurance that they remember me because I respected them. No child could learn if he or she didn't feel good about himself or herself. I don't care if they remember about nouns or verbs. I hope they have carried the creativity options I offered with them working as a team
