A Fast Food Junkie...
Have you ever walked into a fast food joint with the best intentions of ordering a healthy salad only to find yourself eating a chocolate shake instead? It's because of all of the smells and marketing are very difficult to resist. It's also because fast food is addictive. It's as addictive as cocaine or heroine. Caged rats preferred sugar water over water laced with cocaine.

The smell of sugar and fried foods incites pleasure chemicals in the brain, the same chemical fix we got from eating these things.
"After their meals, people feel happy and satisfied. Later, their insulin levels crash, and teir mood drops. They crave more of the same fat and sugar laden foods, and they only feel better once they eat them. The world is bright until the effect wears off. Then people feel grumpy and hopeless, and inadequate until they have more."
