How nice you would post a topic for Mother's Day!I ahve no children of my own, but most of us have been blessed with godly mothers-I know I was. Even though she passed away many years ago, the memory thatcomes to mind about my mother is watching her pray. At night she was always on her knees thanking God-it made me want to get on my knees too and thank Him too...also she took everything to the Lord in prayer. When I was sick and was supposed to go into the hospital because Iwas partially paralyzed, she prayed everyday for me-the same day I was supposed to go into the hospital,God healed me, I started walking, actually running-she saw it was me (Ok-she really thought is was a burgular, and was going to hit me with a flashlight-lol-a little 5' nothing woman about 100 pounds-what a sight that was)-we cried together, and later that morning I went to work-what a mighty God we serve!

(Miss you Mom-more than you know!)

God bless all you mother's on Mothers Day!

I give Glory to God for my three Daughters. I Give Glory to God for giving
me the strength to work and raise my daughters. I Give Glory to God for
giving my mother the strength to take care of my daughters while I worked.
I give Glory to God for giving me the gift of having my Mother with me until
her 105th Birthday. My Mother was at home with us. Not in a Nursing Home.
I Praise God for every Day Of Life That My Mother Lived. I have so much to be
thankful for. So many Proud Moments. Too many to mention.

I praise the Lord everyday for bringing us through. My prayer when I was a young mother was, Please let me live to see them grown and able to take care of themselves. Well My oldest is 48 and my baby girl is 28. He is so good. There are many moments I can bring up, but I think one of the most special times is when my oldest son had to step up and be both mom and dad for a number of years. Through that whole time I know God was with him, and he allowed me to be the granma I always wanted to be to my first grandchild. Through that time, I saw my son grow into a man of courage and integrity.

Hallelujah for Choirgirl & Cherry's comments!
First Happy Mother's Day to All who may view. My story is a little different, but only God knew how to get me where I'm @today in my Spiritual Walk. My birth Mom was a Young, Loving & Fun Mom with many addictions and battles. The main reason she left Dad,me and my 9 siblings @ a young age. Dad took on a Double Parenting Role, which ultimately made me view Men in a very different light. Double Respect for Single Dad's & Good Dads who share Mothering Roles. Dad's Eldest Sister and Mom's Eldest Brother were married and Holy Ghost filled, they took us 6 young ones that were left @ home after Mom's death and raised us for 7yrs.(7) is the # for completion!

My Proudest Moments as a Mom come when I hear my Four Daughters say--"I earned the Wise & Beautiful Mom Medal"!

They admit that I know many things, yet remain learnable, and all four ask my opinion on life issues! God Bless all Mothers!

My mother was a wonderful person! She had a very strong faith and trust in God. My friends would come to my house and my Mom would lsiten and give advice. Both my parent supported me in raising my daughter. Mary Ellen has been a blessing in my life. Even though she was born because of a rape and with spina bifida. On her first trip to church, the following event happened. A woman, who I did not recognize, came up to me(I was carrying Mary Ellen in my arms) . She touched me and Mary Ellen and said" Out of something bad that happened to you, she will be a blessing to many!" She then walked away. I asked my parents if they saw her and they had not! Mary Ellen has always called me "My Mom!" Sally

Wow! What a wonderful bunch of testimonials....My mom is the most awesome woman I have ever known. Most mom's are....

I was not blessed with children, but instead, in the place of children, God blessed me with the desire and capability to care for elders...an awesome career that I was happy to be in for many many years.

No regrets that I never had kids, and plenty of thanks to Our Lord for taking me on the path I have been traveling...now he leads me to teach children The Word...and I am so focused in my church....watching and helping these little ones learn about God and His Grace, His Love and His supreme sacrifice....there are no words to describe the joy I feel....

Oh Thank You Jesus!!!!

What a blessing indeed to know that God has chosen me to be fruitful. My children are truly a blessing to me, threw the good day's and bad. God knew that i would give them the love and understanding and also teach them the way's of the Lord. Each of them bring's such great joy to my life. And when I am longer here, for them I leave them in the loving caring hand's of my father in heaven who gave them to me to raise. They know to trust in him for all of there understanding and need's. The best of my Mother's Day is all of the class room hand made gift's. I treasure them the most. As some of them have grown to be adult's they compete on what to give me for my special day. My Mother's Day start's on Friday and end's on Sunday. My daughter in her 3rd year of college sent flowers to my place of employment. She is the one who give's me gold heart's, every Mother's Day needless to say I have enough at this point. They are the best children that God could have given to me to raise. As for my mother she has since been called home in the year 2005. She did not live to see my baby who is now 8 year's old, but I know that she is looking down on us. I am so very thankful for her love and understanding and also teaching me about the Lord. She was and alway's will be the BEST mother ever. This hurt's so bad just to talk about my dear beloved MOM, I miss her dearly. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY WITH PEACE AND LOVE.

My Mother, Ruth is a devoted prayer warrior. As a Christian Mother she has changed her families lives with the power of prayer. She and the Lord have made all the difference. She is loving and patient. Christians are in a battle, women like my Mother turn the tide with God's answers to their prayers.
