What one thing do you do daily that inspires you?
I get an email each day from the Chuck Swindol of the Insight for Living christian ministry. He writes in such an engaging way that the Bible characters come alive for me.

Sila, that's a tough question. My answer sounds corny, I'm inspired by contact with my fellow human beings. The realization of our shared humanity, our common hopes, our unique dreams, our pains and joys. Will Rogers is famous for saying that he never met a man that he didn't like. I'm not that good. There are people that I don't like. But even they remind me that while there are jerks and villians, most people are decent and good.

I have a goal to say thank you for something from at least three people every day. Also want to cross off at least three items on my todo list. There is always something to be grateful for in each day.

Listening to great music whether by Bach or The Beatles and reading the great poetry of such masters as Keats,Wordsworth,Frost,Dickinson,Yeats, Neruda,Tagore,and Rumi.
I know that's two things but both music and poetry are such wonderful sources of inspiration for me that I just couldn't choose one! Richard

I savor life around me...and watch for the changes day by day. I find (out of my many books) something positive to read and think on every day. Oops, thats two things *grin*
