This is me. September 2007 after a concert. Here I am!
This is me and here I am.I'm not beautiful but i think i look ok for an aging lady.I'm just a nut as my friends say...
This is me last Sunday at Church; I agree with you JoyBoy if there is no picture I really have no interest in looking at the profile. That said it is not physical attributes I am looking for it is making the interaction more natural.
If you have a profile that is private I definately don't even bother. I get the feeling also that something is not right here. However I have asked some folks when interacting in groups and some have real valid reason for not having their pix on cyberspace.
Oh good grief....It's only me. Didn't mean to scare ya.
This is me a couple of months ago when I got my new earrings. I don't have a problem but I do understand why some women don't post pictures. I started talking to a young lady and as she got comfortable with me she sent me pictures on another site. I really don't understand it when a woman has her full name, the city she lives in and an e-mail address with the weirdo's out there and the ability to Google with this info they can be on there doorstep the next day.
Be Safe

Yeah. I know. Personal privacy issues. They do come into the equation but in the majority of cases I think they may not. Who cares if you post shit on the internet through Eons. They might learn something or think about something or question something. I welcome everyone to see who I am and what I think with their own responses either in agreement or rebuttal or with reservations. I have nothing to hide about how dumb or smart I am. This is me. I'd just like to have a mental picture of who I'm talking to.
photos on board and dated....nothing to hide....I y'am who I y'am.....
this has been one of my pet peeves for awhile.....this is a social networking site....we're part of a singles group that's possibly trying to make connections with other singles (friends, lovers, whatever) so there's no sense in hiding behind old photos or avatars....JMHO.....also, private profiles really drive me nuts.....especially when someone's applied for membership and I need to make a decision based on nothing....**shrug**
I really had to think seriously about posting my photo online. I first look at profiles that have photos. So I know it's important and adds a sense of reality (yes, I am a real person!) to being online. And, I don't have anything to hide nor embarrassed about being part of the Eons online community. But I still hestitated for quite a few days before posting a pic. I weighted the pros and cons and could not come up with any reason not to. But, I tell ya, the first time I went back online and saw myself staring back at me, I jumped a bit in my seat and thought "wow, that's me!" LOL!
Yeah, AD but normally I'm a beautiful cow! I'm in a Chuck Jones mood this month. The ring tone on my cell is the looney tunes theme. There are pictures of me posted all over on here and the other groups I belong to.
First, you are "coming on" so strong about how you feel that I'm "put off."
Second, my picture is on my profile...I happen to dislike pictures of myself (always...as long as I've been breathing...) and like pictures of mountains! So I do what makes me comfortable.
