Mother's Day
Mother's Day is fast approaching. What are you doing for your mom?
My mothers birthday was last month. She recived a gift certificate to her favorite clothing shop,and I took her to shop. She realized when she got home and went through her purchases,that she hadnt purchased a particular blouse that she thought she had. so yesterday after work I stopped in to buy it for her. I decided to get her that one and another that she had seemed to like and give them to her for Mothers Day. Then I spotted a really nice pair of summer pajamas I knew she needed and would love.When I went to check out the sales lady said she had some coupons I could use from a magazine,and even though Mom wasnt there she knewus so she looked up her storemembers card number and gave me her discout as well. My purchases totaled 83.00,butith all the discounts she found for me it only came to 29.89!! She saved me 53.00!
My son will send her flowers--he always does,and I am taking her out to The Cotton Patch Cafe for dinner.

Missing Her as I have done for the last 8 years & the 3 that she was lost in Alzhymers. Bless all of us whose Mom has gone from this world. Thanks to a merciful God we will see them in the next!!! You that still have your Mom's enjoy the day & give them your love & gratitude!

My mom is gone as well so I will spend it as a mom and enjoy the day with my sons and grandkids. What kinds of memories do you have of Mother's days past when you were young?
My boys got me a pair of 'diamond' earrings. I still have them. My husband got his mother a cheesy piece of jewelry also, a bracelet, I think. She kept it for many years. She died year before last and we didn't get to the jewelry box in time. He had hoped it was still there.

My Mom has been dead for 24 years now my youngest daughter was 6 months old when she past and she is now 24 years old. I still say a prayer to her and wish her blessings. I am a Mother of three lovely daughters I raised but they don't talk to me not one of them they are going through a silly crises that they created on their own and haven't talked to my husband or me for 6 months now. But like I say the time we have on earth is so short and they are missing out on time with their Mother over childish crap. It is their loss one day they will regret it. Until then they are Gods now they have to answer to Him. I just keep them in my prayers. I will be gone for Mothers Day on vacation and that also is my husbands birthday that day we will celebrate with each other and enjoy each others company. Thank God I have Joe.
