WEATHERING THE STORM

I'm hoisting my sail
Heading straight into the wind
Let it crash me against that Jetty
Someone's waiting there with open arms
Like a beacon..waiting for me
I'll survive..and so will we..because
we are brave, and stand strong.
The raging sea.takes us, tries to pound
And break us..But low we will hang on
Head over board might puke. the Dramamine's
Not working, And the night closes in

The night closes IN.!!.???

So with out another minute to waist
I bid you all adieu

I'll Navigate myself to bed
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ahh yes, claybo..Navigate is good, one....I like that..
I was on that course this past week,
it looked to be a certain end.
But alas, just before fatal crash upon the jetty,
I joined others caught in the same current.
I put aside my own peril and offered them my aid.
In that action they saw clearly and were saved,
from their doubts. But to my own reward I also was saved,
from my own uncertainty and was given new hope.
Our walk was the largest ever, and I spent the day sharing
that new hope with others young & old. The afflicted, families
& care givers. I was given addresses, numbers and hugs,
thanking me for the aid in 'Weathering The Storm'. They
showed me that weathering the storm was a two way street.
It was all so invigorating, from sitting on the grass talking of
the fears of a child for their parent to the newly diagnosed
fearing their tomorrows. Little did they know that they were
giving me a refreshing of my drive to weather the storm.
Life is full of many a surprise,
John
