Help/Advice for Daughter
My daughter was injured at a local store, she tripped on a loose floor mat, fell and broke her arm. The store knows they were at fault, so no problem there, but my daughter is supposed to come up with an amount of $$$ that she thinks would cover the cost of her pain & suffering, plus medical bills, lost income, sleepless nights due to pain, the inability to properly take care of her kids (being a single mom, it wasn't easy) and etc. Has anyone had any experience with this kind of thing? She asked for my opinion on what to list as the amount for compensation and I have no idea. Could some of you tell me what amount YOU would ask for? We need all the input we can get. Thanks.
