I've kind of backed into this... asking questions before I've told anyone who I am. I'm a painter. I have painted and drawn my whole life but never really had time to work at it until this year when I retired. I dabble in watercolor, work hard at acrylics and am learning oils. I consider myself a painter and not an artist because I am still working to get the technical aspects down. Then I'll try to figure out what I want to say. I am impatient and get frustrated and then have to remind myself that if this isn't fun it has no value. I look forward to hearing about everyone else's creative journey.
