Easely's endorsement means little... The two democratic candidates for replacing him are Obama supporters. I think many think that he is one of the worst governors we have ever had in NC

I'm new to this group. Just followed a lead and ended up reading your message. I'm not even supporting Sen. Obama or Hillary but this political correctness has gotten out of hand. I've used the term "pansy" for nearly 30 years and I've never once even thought that it described a gay man. So ridiculous!!! But even if it did, so what?!! I heard what the governor said in his introduction and what I noticed was how excited he was to do so. I feel sorry for anyone in the public eye these days. They're required to be so careful and guarded about the words they use that it's nearly impossible to get an honest or clear answer from them. I want to go back to the days where men and women just said what they really thought about a subject. If you liked it, Ok and if you didn't that was ok too. In a sane world, why would Hillary need to be concerned. She's doing great by the way.
Well as a former gay man, now a gay woman, I have been on the receiving end of the term pansy followed often by a flurry of fists and blood pouring from your's truly's mouth/nose.
Having said that, I agree this is not an issue with me when placed alongside some of the other really pressing issues out there.
