Hi Carantic, I just recently joined this group also. What kind of business are you looking to start? I will be starting a Pressure washing business, I have a commercial pressure washer mounted on a short flat bed truck and almost all of the tools needed to do repairs and maintenance of the equipment. I am currently working as a professional commercial driver running the lower 48 states. With the cost of fuel getting higher every day I don't think I will be driving much longer. I expect to have some difficulty landing work in these hard times but I also know that there will always be a need for pressure washing in the medical field and in the industrial sector as well.
Home sector may not work out as more and more people will be going through financial difficulties. Still, I am not a quitter and will press on. My plan is to obtain some side work form time to time, increasing the volume slowly as my trucking starts to diminish. I'll run my business out of my home to cut out over head cost. I haven't decided on the venue for advertising, that will come later. Well, good luck on your venture and feel free to ask for help,guidance and ideas from this group.
