Getting out!

Hi everyone!
Just joined this group, in fact just joined EONS this month.
Wife & self have been collecting art since we married about 41 years ago. Now have too much, would like to downsize, but don't know value of what we have nor what we should try to sell it for, or even if we should try to sell it. In summary, we have about 300 items hanging on the wall and about 50 more in closets and original cartons because we are out of space on the wall! Many hanging things are oils, lithos, engravings, woodcuts, etc., and are hand colored and many are signed and/or numbered, including names Chagall, Vaserilli, Chamaikin, Erte, Moro, Frankenstein, de Brianski (my spelling may be off on all of these), and a bunch of people no one ever heard of. We also have 2 authenticated, certificated, sculptures by Belgian Leon de Pas (who shared a studio with Picasso) and others. Also a plate collection, 25 hand-colored rhumers (a sort of goblet, cost about $250 to $400 each new at the former Marshall Fields), a tapestry my father traded a set of auto tires for in 1943, some stuff I dug up on an "archaelogical dig" (lawfully, before that country put restrictions on what could be taken out of that country) of what I think are Olmec and pre-Olmec items, and other oddballs, such as election and political trivia What we need FIRST is someone who is professionally qualified (and has the right credentials so we have an address to go to if we get ripped off 2 weeks later) to tell us what is saleable and what is not, and a price range we should be considering whether for private placement or consignment to an auction. Would enjoy hearing from anyone who has the kind of information we seek.
Thanks.
