CHILD ABUSE AWARENESS DAY ON EONS
April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, and many organizations nationwide have dedicated their efforts to spreading the awareness of this growing problem.
Every year, over 1,500,000 children are abused in this country. Child abuse includes sexual, physical, and emotional abuse and neglect. Many people here on Eons have written blogs, revised their profiles, and changed their profile photos to get this message out.
Eons will be promoting MONDAY, APRIL 21st as CHILD ABUSE AWARENESS DAY ON EONS. For that day, we are asking that members change their profile photo to the blue ribbon that many of you have already seen other members use. This is a one day event, and a way to show your awareness of this growing issue and support for the efforts of so many to stop this.
We are asking everyone to download the attached "Blue Ribbon" avatar to your computer and upload it to your profile to use on MONDAY, APRIL 21 to show your support.
