FIRST SEXUAL ENCOUNTER
When was your first sexual encounter - where - and what happened?
Elitists
I believe politicians on both sides are elitists. That's what attracts them to this living. Whenever Americans struggle with making a living, politicians continue to make more. When voting themselves a raise made too much of a stink, they just re-wrote the law to have automatic pay raises, so no need to vote. Whenever a third party makes any headway, they just manipulate their own process to exclude it.
If they weren't allowed to make more money than the average American does, we would have real leadership. But that's not going to happen, they have a strangle hold on the process. They will never be subject to the same laws as we Americans. they are elitists, we are their subjects.

McCain's Speech
I am curious as to reactions on McCain's speech. I think it was one of the best he has done so far. I like the part where he talked about some of the republicans in office being corrupt. Not because I am a democrat. I'm a republican, but an American first and I believe in calling a spade a spade and have been encouraging a purge and clean out in local government of all who are not supporting their constituents. He basically said he would do that in Washington, but the fact is that he can't without our help. We have to begin on the local level and work our way up.
Another thing I noted more than any time before is the passion he truly seems to have for our country. I don't think I have ever seen it to this extent before. Kind of like he stepped out a little more. I've not been a strong McCain supporter and planned on voting for him because he seemed to be the best choice out still in the race. However, after these past couple of days, I believe I've warmed up to him some what.

Howdy Everyone

Thanks for having me.
Looks like a cool site.
I am from Mt. Dora FL. I'm thinking maybe I should have stayed in MI. a little bit longer. It looks like Hurricane Ike is headed right for us! I live in a mobile home, so will have to evacuate. I am fortunate to have a son and family living 7 miles from me, so will go there.
Will chat later,
Sal

Real heroes
It is with much sadness that I report the passing of another unknown vet of the Vietnam war.
You know us, the lost Americans. Here is a story of true honor.
Are there any people left in America that have guts?
In the event you missed the news last week...
While the politicians heap horseshit about how they're going to diddle the government, the economy and international affairs to make American lives better, let's remember a patriot who put everything on the line to save American lives.
For those who are unfamiliar with the story below, the movie WE WERE SOLDIERS, with Mel Gibson told the story of this epic battle and the incredible courage of all those who participated.
From: Richard Hayhurst
You're an 18 or 19 year old kid. You're critically wounded, and dying in the jungle in the Ia Drang Valley,11-14-1965. LZ Xray, Vietnam.
Your Infantry Unit is outnumbered 8 - 1, and the enemy fire is so intense, from 100 or 200 yards away, that your own Infantry Commander has ordered the Medi-Vac helicopters to stop coming in.
You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you're not getting out. Your family is 1/2 way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day.
Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter, and you look up to see a Huey, but it doesn't seem real, because no Medi-Vac markings are on it.
Ed Freeman is coming for you. He's not Medi-Vac, so it's not his job, but he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire, after the Medi-Vacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway.
And he drops it in, and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 2 or 3 of you on board. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire, to the Doctors and Nurses. And, he kept coming back...... 13 more times..... and took about 30 of you and your buddies out, who would never have gotten out without Ed's heroism.
Medal of Honor Recipient Ed Freeman died August 20, 2008 at the age of 80, in Boise, ID......
May God rest his soul.....
Best

What women's groups beside the republicans and religious groups support Palin. What is her stand on women's issues?
What has she done for women's issues?
