Hi everyone. I took watercolor classes at the Omega Institute and have been trying my hand at home. I'm not too good yet but I'm having so much fun!

Hi, I'm a real newbie. I just took basic instruction 1/2 day per week over the summer. More constructive criticism and advise regarding tips and techniques so I've a long way to go.
I'm signing up for a water colour course tomorrow at the seniors' cemtre. It will be 8 full days over a 4 month period so at least I'll have something more formal. It's being done by a local artist in Kingston. Hope to learn a lot and progress in leaps and bounds.
They say you don't have to be able to draw to be able to paint. I'm not so sure about that?!
Anyone else have tips or techniques which are helpful.
