Yahoo games, mail, and messenger, have conflicts with sun java. Rather then trying to work around them. Here is the easy and fastest way to cure them. These simple setting changes will fix 90% of all problems caused by java updates. While you need java for most yahoo sites, you do not need java virtual machine to launch them.
go to Tools, open Internet options, advance tab. Scroll down the list and see if you have Microsoft Virtual Machine listed, if so unclick the 2 java’s listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. Close. This lets msn virtual machine launch yahoo messenger and games.

Most PC's have 2 virtual machines.The virtual machine java (sun java) Which when it comes to yahoo games it has alot of glitches. The MSN Virtual machine which I have used for the past 5 yrs, with no problems. Your PC was trying to run both. Turn sun java off is my advice. (Yahoo post ends)
I have had that problem with Rocket Mania (the only game in that category I can stand )and TextTwist. I haven't visited this group in some time so don't know if someone has already posted a solution.
