Hello

I am Diana, I have multiple problems that finally led to disabilty. I am a retired nurse and have two sons, one grandson that just turned one in Feburary.

I have severe osteoporsis, non functioning adrenal glands, fibromalgia/chronic fatigue, severe arthritis, (two kinds), chronic pain from spinal problems, respiratory problems and mild heart problems. Interesting enough my brother and sister suffer the same problems. I have lived the last two years in such a void. I want to rebuild my life and be happy again. I am ready for change. I am ready to accept my limitations and enjoy to the fullest, those things I can do. I am ready to get off the pity pot.

I joined this group, because of Adie, I don't even know you, but you touched my heart. I have been reading several groups and just saw this one. Adie, you are in my prayers and Gods hands and I know that it is going to be hard, but you are goint to come through this.

PS: I would love to join your group, if you will have me. I want to bring the little nowledge I have and sunshine and joy.
Thank you, Diana, for the tribute you have made to me by joining this group. I wish more people would find it and make it the source of supportive words for more of us who are living life to the best of our abilities.

I have a severe problem in my cervical spine that has crushed my spinal cord again. I will have surgery next Monday, the day after Easter. I am looking forward to being able to communicate with everyone again. My fingers are not functioning properly and typing has become very challenging, so I don't do much right now.

You'll be hearing more from me!

Hugs,

Adie

Hi Diana
I was going to send you a pvt message, but saw where you must be a "friend" to get to your blog...etc

I am a retired RN also. Had to quit when the arthritis got so bad. I have both osteo and rhematoid. I also have Lupus and am a Diabetic. This sounds like a lot , but they are really all"tied in together"

I, too, accept my limitations, but try to do as much as I can.
I know just how frustrated you can get at times and want to cry...but we just have to "think positive"...as they say.

I am a friend of Adie and correspond with her.
I would like to add you to my list of friends , if you would like. Perhaps we could all help each other by "sharing" our burdens and joys.

Just send me a message if you are interested,
I do hope you find this message
