mucking stalls, climbing stall gates, raising kids again, riding a tractor, loving a barn, tossing around those 80 lb bales of hay, lugging those 40 lb buckets or water two at a time. tossing around the 50 lb feed bags.......learning to appreciate the small things in life, marveling at the sun coming up like a huge blazing ball over the flat prairie....watching the same sun set behind the mountains painting the sky in vibrant streaks of color. Watching little bunnies and ground squirrels and prairie dogs welcome back the spring. Trying to get up enough heart to let those little critters know, that there is still a snow storm or two lingering out there don’t let the 70 degree weather fool ya! Colorado, four seasons, one day!
