Fast Food-Sad Case

It,s a shame whats happening to the fast food industry. they will hire anybody simplly because they are breathing.
Sunday i stopped in at a Taco bell, there was a kid behind the counter, 16-17 years old. I ordered and the bill was $3.27 and i give $5.35....he had to ask for someone who was good at math to make change. I felt bad for him and took back the .35 cents so he could figure it out. That is a sad case...what will become of these people?

Your kidding right Vin? I had to get a damn calculator out to figure your change was 2.08 :^) I'd make sure something was missing from your order!

Where was the adult who was responsible for training this kid. For decades, you punch in how much the customer gave you and the MACHINE tells you how much change to give. But also, a lot of people just swipe a card now. No cash needed. Yeah Vinny, things have changed. Kids don't do math in their heads anymore.

New Years Eve in Toronto about 30 years ago. It wasn't the food, it was the bill. Almost $175.00 (we only had 4 glasses of wine) That was alot of money back then. Never did forget it.

What will become of these people?

They'll get athletic scholarships to attend high-profile colleges. They'll use the connections they gain at these colleges to enter the boardrooms and executive suites of major, multi-national corporations. Some of them will get elected to public office, where they'll be given the responsibility of making decisions affecting what happens to our tax dollars. . .

I always received very good service at Chili's Restaurants. Last week (middle of afternoon) I waited quite a while at the podium for the hostess to stop talking with a bartender. She did see me. Then, the server had two tables. The table near mine the server miscalculated the change and the customer called him over to return the extra money. For me, he shorted me $10 and when I told him he opened his money holder and asked how much did I need returned? He looked to be in his 20's. I don't think he'll make it to the boardroom --- We need to take a hard look at the educational system and parenting.
