Sunday Evening's TPQ

You have to stand in front of a group of young women who are going through. You have to explain to them that there is help for whatever they are going through right now. You have decided to be a testimony this evening. You have been blessed to now wear the "right" clothes, the "right" jewelery, you have the "right" purse. So what do you say to "you" 25 years ago?

I say
~Always respect yourself and require that others do so as well. Teach that to your children. Everyone, no matter their situation deserves to be treated with respect.
~Always conduct yourselves with integrity. (Expound on what that means in your opinion sis).
~Don't get discouraged, have faith, continue to pray for what you need and try to keep your outlook positive. There are many women who have pulled themselves up out of some of the worst situations....give some examples.
~Don't be too proud or afraid to ask for or accept help if it comes with sincerity and without "a price" (you know...devious people with ulterior motives is what I mean sis).
~Find and enroll in programs to better your education and increase your employability.
~For those who are working...avoid debt as much as possible in these uncertain economic times.
I would also give the message to those who don't have children yet, avoid having them until their situation changes. Also avoid turning to drugs & alcohol or if already addicted, get the help you need.

I think the same goes now as years ago. "Love yourself, respect yourself, and demand the same to whom ever you come across in your life. Unless you show them you love them because of the love respect you have for them. It will catch on." Many of them have no idea that they can get respect and love from their friends, male or female.

I know you've said the right things, you will see that you will get a lot of unknown LOVE & Respect for your effort.
CONGRATULATION, PHENOMENAL WOMAN!

Ya know I love you all like a BLT with extra mayo and cheese!! Well I have been doing this for a couple of years now and you all are so right, the message never changes! Respect yourself, know your self-worth and stay away from anyone who will try to devalue you in any way, if they are not in your life to build you up get rid of them. Then I have to tell them that this a a LEARNED behavior. It is easier said than done in most cases and that sometimes you will make a mistake more than once! I tell them that no one can stand in judgement of them because none of us are perfect and they really don't want to know someone who has NOT been through something! You see God did not come to save the sin free, He came to save the sinners! (Yeah I sneak that in on em!) So my Phenoms thank you for the encouragement and the love!
