Copy and Paste Lesson
I have been in touch with several members who are new to computers, and are having problems with dressing up their profile because they do not understand copy and paste.
This is for them.
Here is a copy and paste lesson.
Place the cursor beside some text. Press the left mouse button. Hold it down, and move over the text you want copied. Then right click. A drop down menu will appear. One of the options is copy.Choose copy. Go to the area where you wish the text to be placed. Right click on your mouse. A drop down menu will appear, one of the option will be paste. Choose paste. You have just copied and pasted.
You can also copy by using CTRL button and C key and paste by using CTRL and V.
Try it in an e-mail message a few times, or in word, or whatever. Send it in a PM to me, it doesn't matter, but practice, it will soon become second nature. It can be done! I have been a comptuer "user" for many many years, some times we "old timers" forget that new users just don't know these terms.
