New Cruise

We just book our next cruise on Carnival's Legend out of Tampa on Jan. 11, 2009. It is a fund raiser for the local Lions Club thru Carlison. They opened it to the public and I can't believe there low group rates. It is going to Grand Cayman, Cozumel,Belize and Roatan Island Honduras. I could not believe a balacony for less than $895.00 Which includes all taxes, fees and fuel surcharges and they have a few cabins left. I can hardley wait. This will be our 12 cruise in the last 13 years.

we went to grand caymen in 2006 and I thought it was beautiful there. I swam with the sting rays, not sure I would do it again with all the deaths in the last few years but loved it when I did. We then went snorkling in about 11 ft. of water and it was great. I did not get to see Cozumel because that was about 6 mo. after a hurricane and it was still torn up alot. Have a wonderful time and let us all know just how wonderful it was when you get home...

Enjoy your trip. I live in the Tampa area & we did some of those ports on a Carnival cruise 2 years ago. This year we wanted to go to the Eastern Caribbean so we are driving to Miami & going on the Carnival Liberty. We paid less than $800 for our mid ship balcony cabin also.

Went to all the same places last September..different cruise line...but you MUST do the Cave Tubing in Belize!! IT WAS FANTASTC! Cold...fresh mountain water, but even this ol'lady had a great time.
It's very safe, the guides we wonderful, no creepy crawlies in the water...didn't even see a fish, and it's crystal clear. One cave you sailed thru was soooo dark & the guides asked you to not turn on your headlamps until they said...WOW..like a magical adventure...sparkling stalagmites (spelling?) towering above your head....WOW. Big truck tubes, life jackets and a miner's light and if your feet are swollen from other tours, one and a half hours in this water will shrink them to the smallest they have ever been!
A bit of a bus ride...air conditioned...but well worth the time and cost...a full day adventure.

I'd like to hear more about it. I am leaving for my first cruise on 7/12 with my fiance. Going on the Norweigian Sky to the Bahamas. Five days, four nights. I'm thinking he opened a can of worms. Haven't even got back from that one yet and I'm thinking of another. Is the info on line?
