Howdy Saturday nighters!

OMG, it's so good to have a computer. My neighbor lent me her laptop for today and tomorrow.
After that, I'll be puterless again until I get to Kansas around the 25th or so.
I was sitting on my couch and had just turned to weather channel to see where the storm was heading, when a gigantic boom hit. It knocked me right off the couch onto my ass on the floor, that's how loud it was. Scared the sh*t outta me. My TV went out and I ran into the computer room and saw all kinds of hallucinogenic colors. I turned it off, but it was too late...it's dead too. Then I started noticing it was getting hot, and I went to the thermostat which is digital and it was blank...no air!
Then I pick up the phone to call the cable company and my phones were dead.
Am I happy to be leaving Florida? Oh hell yes!!! But it had to give me one more kick in the ass.
The ac was not covered for lightening. I don't think anything here is, but I will call my home insurance company on Monday and see if anything can be reimbursed.
So, I'm here for the weekend. :-)

The truth!

You guys all know how it feels when you awake in the morning feeling like you were 25 and as soon as your feet hit the floor, your body reminds you, that your a heck of a lot older! This song by Toby Keith puts in all in order, enjoy!

I'm Not Heartless

but people have to be responsible for their own bills. These people knew when they took on their mortgages if it was more then they could handle. They didn't think ahead about what emergencies could come up.
We had such high debt due to illness that I could have gone bankrupt but mom always said be honest in your dealings with people.Arnold and I sacrificed everything and took on
two jobs to get debt free.People today don't want to sacrifice. My parents never had a credit card. They saved for what they needed.==NOTICE==I said needed not wanted.People want more things then they need, which is fine if you can afford them.If you cannot, then you should rethink putting yourself in more debt then you can handle.I'm not trying to
be heavyhanded but I have to be truthful here.So often our problems stem from not thinking ahead.

God on McCain's Side?

At a McCain event, as the crowd waited for McCain himself to arrive, Pastor Arnold Conrad of the Grace Evangelical Free Church of Davenport, Iowa, gave an invocation that included the following: "I would also pray, Lord, that your reputation is involved in all that happens between now and November, because there are millions of people around this world praying to their god—whether it's Hindu, Buddha, Allah—that his opponent wins, for a variety of reasons. And Lord, I pray that you will guard your own reputation, because they’re going to think that their God is bigger than you, if that happens. So I pray that you will step forward and honor your own name with all that happens between now and Election Day."

Answer & Ask...

This idea came from another group manager who is doing the same in her group with much success. It sounded like fun, so I thought we'd try it. Basically, I will ask the first question, and the first person to reply will answer my question and ask one of their own. Kind of like 20 questions, but one at a time. Strictly small talk, basically one-liners, try to keep it fun. It would be easy to get off track if we all jumped on the same post, but let's see how it goes. OK, here's the first question:

Are you a morning person or night person?
