Thank you for your warm welcome. I am turning 60 this month and I just joined. I need to meet new people and share ideas and make friends. It would be my pleasure and I thank you for your kind words. I live in OHIO and we just got dumped 6" of sudden snow in three hours.

I think that we could all use friends to talk to. My name is Portia and I am 38 years old. Yes, I know people feel slighted that the younger crowd has joined Eons, but I assure everyone that I am very active on here, and that I understand. I think 13 years old is an extreme even for me. A 38 year old though is no young chicken. I am finding parts I never knew I had, and all the wonderful things that come with getting older. I am studying to be a lawyer, and enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music.

I am so sorry you are bored out of your skull. I too am new here and just hoping to connect with others like me. I am 55, divorced, homeschooling two children (15 and 17 years old), working outside of the home, have 7 grandchildren, oh, anything else?
I wish sometimes I had the time to get bored. I am usually so busy I have little time to sit still and relax. I do look forward to our spring break here. I drive a school bus and just look forward to the time I don't have to wake up so early and my day is not so broken up. We are planning a trip to Florida for our break and it will be nice to have sun and fun on the beach and just do whatever we want to do for a week.

Well. I moved to AZ now. And Volunteer at my grandchilren school now. I ain't bored anymore.
