No, I've never been to Ireland. At least not yet anyway. Looking to steal away and never come back.
I am half Irish and half Scot -- very mixed up. I've been to Scotland and lived in England. But somehow I managed to miss going to Ireland... my dream.
My other dream is to own my own Irish Pub. Complete with Irish music, food, and lots of good beer.

Let me know when you get the pub up and running and I'll be your first customer! We are trying to plan our second trip to Ireland, but with the dollar exchange rate right now, we may postpone it til better days. Can't wait to go back. also need to get to Scotland. May have to win the lottery to be able to do all the traveling I want to do!

Hello,
I know about the expense. I'm a travel agent and still have to justify the expense vs the love of travel. I am looking to go to Kilkenny, county Clare, and Galway in Ireland. Then I want to go back to Scotland and visit Lock Ness and the surrounding Highlands. My Scot side of the family is from around Lock Ness. My Irish side is from County Clare. So those are the places I am most interested in. I would love to find a small cottage and pub to run in County Clare.
When I open my pub -- everyone is invited....
