View message "The new Beta " in Eons Advisors Group

The new Beta

On the group's front page there is a big button to 'post a new message' but when you are on the 'message' page the only thing you can do is respond to the messages already there. In order to post a new message you have to go back to the group's home page to do so. Or am I missing something right in front of my face? Definitely wouldn't be the first time.

Isn't the "home" page and the "message" page the same thing? Are you referring to the "replies" page as the message page? If so, well, that's just the way the website is designed. Clicking out of the middle of the replies page of a topic to get back to the home page before posting a new topic seems logical to me.

What I am saying is if read the responses to a message you then don't have the option to 'post a new message' like we did under the old system. You have to go back to the group's 'home page' to be able to. It is just an inconvenience that I've found with the new Beta.

Ok, I see what you are saying - when you are reading the replies to any particular message then the option is there on the right.

What I'm talking about is - underneath the announcements on a group's home page you click on 'view all messages' and all the messages come up but there is nowhere on that particular page where we are given the option to 'post new message'. We had that option in the old system.

Sorry guys, I'm really not trying to cause problems. It just makes sense to me that the option to post a new message should also be on the main 'messages' page.
