Hi, Karen:
I have sleep apnea, also. Do you sleep on a CPAP? I've been on one since 1990. Just got a new one with a humidifier. It's tough. Sometimes, I feel like Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs!

HI Karen,
Greetings! I have to admit I haven't been on this site for a while.....too much going on with the holidays.
My son is bipolar and so's my exhusband. It's not an easy problem to live with with medications and all.
I have Arthritis in my right knee......luckily just one knee so far! and one shoulder. I have severe acid reflux and Barrett's esophagus so I can relate to be very limited to what I can eat! It's a real pain sometimes!
I have many health issue too. It sure makes life difficult and can drive ya right down crazy at times! I'd love to chat with you if you'd care to write back........take care! Roxie

Hi,
I know you posted this more than a year and a half ago, but I thought I would give this a try anyway. I, to, have bipolar disorder. I am 53 and have had it since I was approximately 13. Unfortunately, my 22 year old son and 19 year old daughter have it as well. My daughter is borderline, could probably go without medicine but does much better with a small dose of one. My son on the other hand is a mess, not to be critical. I would change places with him in a minute. Anyway, back to me, this disorder certainly has taken some time from me. I am coping a little better as of the last 9 years or so, but now I have an empty next, relatively speaking. My daughter will leave for school next fall. On top the bipolar, I have had major surgery twice this year. The first in Feb. that failed, had to have it again Sept. 30. I will not heal for 6 months. I cannot lift anything heavier than 20 lbs. the rest of my life. I feel isolated again but not for a physical issue. Just want to be able to reach out.
