Welcome eggroll . I hope you are not saying now that you are of the old age of 51 you have given up your art. I didn't ever start untill I was 65. I am now 75. I can't devote a lot of time to painting put I do as much as I can. I hope you will keep it up. Or get started again. Lewan

I found that my art took all my attention and now that I am fully engaged at work and home I do not have the time I would like. I tend to immerse myself in what I am doing and can be a little obsessive, lol. In my 20's I became enamored of Martial Arts and worked at it 8 hours a day and 48 hours per weekend. My painting was pretty much the same; it was all that I did. Now that I cannot devote myself 100% I find that I would rather collect and admire good art. I was amazed at Jane's level of accomplishment and her wonderful technique.
Yes eggroll I really like her work to. It s do doft. Mine tends to be bright and loud. I have never had any formal training. Just a little calss here and there. But I really like to paint.
