Good Morning!

I have had a massive influx of group members. I have been PMing each one, welcoming them.

I am getting a message that I have sent too many messages in a 24 hour period. Is there anyway around that. I still have 12 folks left!

There's an algorithm that works out how many private messages each individual members can send each day, based on their history of sending messages...

So, the short answer is: no, not today.

Tomorrow you'll be able to send more than you have been able to previously and so on. As the system trusts you, it loosens the limits on you.

This was done to try to limit the damage that spammers can do, while not limiting the activities of legitimate messagers. Occasionally though, someone like you gets bitten - sorry about that. :(

A bunch of us found this out last year when Marty ("Daydreamin") organized a group to eliminate the "wine bottle" from the gifts lists. So... We "raided" the wine cellar and gave away almost 500 bottles of wine in 6 hours!!! Cost us all of our collective gift points and put us in the PM penalty box for 24 hours. So embarassing...so well worth it!!!!!

Can't wait to see what she dreams up next...
