Beautiful work ;-) YOU GO GIRL! You are so talented in so many ways....so glad your here. have a gr8t day
Loved it...By the way, I have a screenplay, about a female Nazi Hunter, based on a true event, that would be PERFECT for you - it's been optioned a number of times, and a number of actresses have committed to it -at one time or another - Dianne Ladd, Sean Young, Lisa Eichorn, Olivia Hussey,Kirstie Alley, - I'd love for you to look at it - and could have my manager send it over to you, if you so wish - I truly do think you are an extremely talented woman and sincerely do find your artwork superb....Lee
Jane, your artwork truely is done from the heart, with your eyes. Awhile ago, I once heard you speak about being a woman and it stuck with me always. For that, I thank you. Never has any woman truely said what being a woman means like you did. I too love getting up and feeling like a woman each and everyday. I enjoy looking nice and I treasure making things nice around me. I can not wait to get your new book on tablescapes and read it and see the elegance you bring to that also. Again, Thank you for all the softness you bring to life each and every day.
Jane,
Glad to see you on Eons! I definitely will take a look at your work. I am an artist who studied at the John Herron Art Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana in the '60s.
My wife & I now live near Richmond, Indiana. The Richmond Civic Theater produces plays that are every bit as good as on Broadway. We feel privileged to be able to support that theater and the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
I too find great solace in my studio and having the skills to express myself, as I know you are blessed with that gift, both in your painting and your acting.
I share another thing with you - I had a heart attack in February of '06 and I am slowly changing the behaviors which caused it
Peace be with you. Dennis
I am very impressed by your work Jane! How long have you been involved in the art world?
:-)

Jane, I enjoyed viewing the photos of your artwork. I especially like the ones of mothers and children, and children alone. They're delicate and sensitive.
I'm an artist too, but due to all the activity in posting information about my books, I have delayed adding art. I received an invitation yesterday to do that, so I think I will. My style is not delicate. I studied art at Arizona State, Phoenix College, Glendale College and at various workshops. I was impacted the most by Jackson Pollack. He didn't have a very admirable lifestyle, but I loved the freedom and sponteneity in his work.
I like your suggestion about grouping small items together to create interest. Now if I could just find an empty spot!
Ms. Seymour: Your artwork is stunning. I wrote to you a few weeks ago, and I can imagine how busy you are. My children's book The Flower In The Thickets by Marcella Miller will be out in about 2 months. I asked if you could give me any names of the bookstores you or your friends frequent. I am in the process of putting together my itinerary and since this is my first childrens book, I need a lot of help via friends and blogs. Thank you for your help. Marcella Miller marcelamillerbooks@yahoo.com or doloresphlps@yahoo.com P.S. I think you would like this book as it is set in an old English village. MM
Exquisite paintings Jane! I'm very happy to be here, and part of your group. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
Jane,
Your "Hibuscus" is ready to be put in to water.... Just beautiful.
Your Painting of your twins "Twins looking for Bugs" is just adorbale - how creative. How do they like the painting now?
"South of France" -- and the Elisabethian Paiting" from St. Catherine's Court -- are one my list of my favorites. "Mother and Child on the Beach" is my reach of goals [set in stone].....
For now, I enjoy my little "Private Issue" Discover Card -- which greets all Beethoven musicans, ready to play on my Piano. The attention is instant. The little "Private Issue" is framed in a rather large, older frame, demanding the player's attention. The colors are vibrant as ever.
As you can imagine -- your name comes up often in this house.
You are such an inspiration.

You are just so multitalented. I loved looking at your art work.
