Dear Jane,
As one who was greatly inspired by the impressionists and post-impressionists at a very early age, I can appreciate your beautiful paintings. Your ballet dancers are reminiscent of Degas' ballet dancers and yet, at the same time, your own. Your sunflowers painting remind me of the van Gogh's sunflowers, and yet again, they are uniquely your own. I recognize the influence of Claude Monet in your water lillies; I think perhaps he must have made a particularly strong impression on you. But, I see a little bit of other impressionists as well, such as Renoir.
I used to paint in oils, water color and acrylic. I also used to love to draw. I'm sorry to have say that I don't it anymore.
My wife is an extremely talented artist as well, but I'm sorry to say to have to report that she doesn't do it anymore either.
But, I still appreciate great talent when I see it, and you most definitely have that. I guess one of the reasons why I love the impressionists so much is because I love paintings with vibrant colors, and your paintings certianly do meet that criterion. Anyway, I really do love your work.
I just realized that I have forgotten my manners. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
Best regards,
Eric
Jane; your work is wonderful.
I have Sjogren's syndrome, it is an autoimmunedisease that can effect your whole body, mine is in my brain. It robs you of memory and is like MS in symptoms.
My Paintings and my quilting ...gardening are my solace. Thank God that has not been robbed from me.

You are indeed gifted Mrs Seymour. I can understand why your paintings are sought after. You have a talent also in picking a right scene or a good subject which makes your paintings very good. These works are definitely going to be appreciated for a long time to come.
My art is in doing hair makeup artist and nails over the years. I used to say I was not a artist until one told me you kidding your great at doing it all. So guess you learn something new everyday. I especially love doing makeovers for Este Lauder. I wish I was a artist like you are but God gave me other talents. love your work so I do enjoy the arts and been told I have good taste so this is a compliment on the art work
Hello, your paintings are great, i didn't see them all. but i will go back to the site, thanks for being a friend, have a good day and keep painting.
Actually Jane.....I haven't seen your artwork....it was just the sheer novelty of discovering you on this site that compelled me to write.........it was a bit of disbelief and pleasure to be honest..I live in Australia and have just joined the site....am a traveller and enjoy connecting with others.......so....from "down under"......nice to meet you....

I love your paintings. There's something very real and honest about them. I have prints of a couple of them and wouldn't part with them for the world.
I just got my print of "Woman in Red"--one of my favorites! It will go next to my print that came with your book. I'm so excited--I had so much fun buying mats and frames for them, and they both look beautiful!
Speaking of your book--I've added several "tablescapes" to our little apartment here. I think they look so nice! My husband chuckled a bit, but I think he was proud of how everything looked when we had a group of people from church over on Sunday.
Thank you so much for your inspiration, in so many different ways.
Jane~
I must add my comments though they have been repeated over & over in these replies. So just call me 'echo'. I enjoyed viewing your pieces on line at Coral Canyon. I did a lot of oil painting but had to give it up when my husband became terminally ill. I've considered pursuing it again and seeing your work has inspired me. .....one more of the many beautiful facets of Jane Seymour. Thanks!
