Thanks for your interest in my painting - one of my passions. Coral Canyon Publishing represents all my work... I do find sanctuary in my studio.

You may see of some of my pieces at Coral Canyon and tell me what you think.

Love your paintings. I really liked your self portrait! When I first started painting I painted landscapes, horses and objects. Then I stopped painting for 10 years. I wanted to create art from my dreams and not something that I could take a picture of. I needed to develop a style and not copy things I could see. Even though I have painted many paintings (Faces Collection) I tend to keep them all. I did work at marketing them a bit but lacked the introduction into the art galleries I wanted to be in. (New York, Chicago, San Francisco, etc.) It does help to be famous! Artists hate rejection. Many great artist's work is never seen. I figure when I die, people will be amazed with all the art they discover on my wallls and I will then be famous!! lol My paintings are the only children I have, but will live on forever.

Jane, I went to Corak Canyon and looked at your work It is beautiful, so soft. I do water colors too, but mine are very bright and not nearly as good as yours. But I love just the act of painting. It takes me to another place that is calm and peaceful

Hello Jane,
I really enjoy "Reflecting in Monet's Garden". I think you have really captured his spirit in your work. I am reminded of Central Park on one of those hot, steamy summer days when the trees and water take on a Monet like quality through the sultry haze.

Hi Jane, just got done reading your bio and viewing your pictures. Wow! To say the least, you have talent and beauty to match, talent to the second power that is. It is pretty obvious that you are one of those people who can be described as... "the touch of the masters hand."
Thanks for sharing your life with us.

Hi first it is so great tohave such an elegant lady as yourself in here. Now as for your art well I have not seen any of your work but if you have something set up to show in the Orange County area of Southern California I would like to know where or when. I would most definitely love to see your works.

Dear Jane

I am not sure how much you are here on EONS, or if you really read these posts. Still I am leaving this here in the hope you will find it. I will also post it to my blog.

Films, like the motion picture SOMEWHERE IN TIME, are a gift to the public. Like CASABLANCA and GONE WITH THE WIND, this film is now a classic. It is also I believe to a great degree, a gift to the actors and all participants involved. A special period in your life when all the pieces of the Universe fall into place and something wonderful happens. Because not every work you put your heart and soul into provides this kind of mecca, perhaps they become poignant and incredible portions of your lifetime. I would think this particular piece of the fabric of your life's work must be a very special and endearing moment in time for you, so to speak.

I have been a fan of yours, the late Chris Reeves and the film SOMEWHERE IN TIME since it's 1980 release. Is time travel really possible, well, to paraphrase, that IS a question! The combination of movement through the ages and incredible love was the magic of the film and the onscreen chemistry between you and the late Mr. Reeves brought this tale to life, particularly in such an exquisite location as the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Of course, I own the dvd and the soundtrack. The music is a beautiful, serene track, I adore variations on a theme by Paganini and Rachmaninoff intensly. In terms of the Classics they eternally first rate..so calming and so full of first love..which is really a big part of the film for Elise McKenna, your character. Her smile in the photo Richard is so eerily attracted to was, unbeknownst to him and all of us, put there by their love. No matter how many times I watch the film, I still pray Richard will not find the penny as he stands behind the sofa...

So frozen in time, SOMEWHERE IN TIME was a gift given to us all. To the uninitiated I advise you, get and see this work of art. If you have a dvd collection of any value, this must be part of it. To you Jane a very heartfelt thanks for all you added to what is probably my favorite film of all time. Oh sure I am a child of the 60s who went to Woodstock and BYE BYE BIRDIE, along with WEST SIDE STORY are too a part of my collection. But there is something very special about SOMEWHERE IN TIME that somehow sets it apart from the rest. Something that keeps it reverberating in a way I cannot explain. All I can say is it keeps me and many, many others coming back for more of the same.
Thanks again,
