Why on earth did the group moderators allow that?
Just exactly what we said would happen isn't it
This issue is being addressed in the managers and moderators groups. Among other things, it is thought that this is someone who is an eons member who changed his profile to try to upset people.
Why am I not surprised!!!!
Yup, right, like he's the bad guy for pretending to be a 13yr old? I'm sure there's a bunch of kids out there that will join when they find out about this site. I'm so disappointed, I was going to cancel, but couldn't find a way to do that, so I'm just not accepting any message notices in my email now.
I just accepted a friend invitation from a 13 year old male. (not the one mentioned here - this one is in no groups so far). Looks like he used his real name as his ID. Not a great start for a kid! He won't be allowed in any of my groups --- but --- friends we can be. Helen
Laughingspirits, the boy you befriended is the one that is being discussed here. Apparently, he terminated his membership in the indicated groups and is adding friends as fast as he can.
Please note: The profile on the "kid" in question says that he has been a member since August....and that is probably correct...One of the people on his friends list has been a friend for 5 months. In other words this profile is a "ringer"...as someone else already mentioned...it is some old coot who is intent on stirring the muck and causing problems.
What ever happened to "Act your age?" Seniors and boomers - sturing up trouble - just for the hell of it? Nice way to set an excample.
Remember there are a lot of adults, in age only. Their actions indicate differently. Still can not imagine what this is all leading to. I'm not real comfortable interacting with people in my groups because I'm not sure who my audience truly is.
