I like the group name!
Ability is the way I prefer thinking of my life. I dis the Dis part. I just came across this group and had to join.
When I think of what Christopher Reeve went through and the good he managed to do with his "ability", I have no right to think of myself as dis-abled. I may have some days better than others, but I'm alive and able to use my brain. That's what counts. I give thanks and hope to do what the Lord wills for me.
I hope we'll hear about everyone's abilities along with their gripes about health matters. Taking the good with the bad makes the bad seem less bad, doesn't it?
