Open message to Jeff Taylor

It has been fun but I guess you gotta do what puts a few more millions in your pocket. When this was brought up before, your audience voted overwhelmingly to reject the under 50's. You agreed and backed down. This time you were smarter and did not ask. I just wanted to let you know the general opinion here has not changed.

For those of us that have been loyal to you from the beginning I have a small favor to ask. I am sure you know your competition so could you save us a lot of work and print a list of the social interaction groups that are still for the flip side of 50? many of us are planning on leaving the flip side of puberty, but we are old and could use the help!

Thanks a lot for all eons has brought me including friends, SKITS, and a new family....and may your new advertising dollars bring you much joy!

I just became aware of the change. Yup, that means I am gone. I changed all my privacy settings to "no one" or "friends".

I came to this site BECAUSE it was "flip side of 50", and now that it no longer is, I have no desire to be exposed (again) to having to filter thru the immature posts of the underside of 30's, etc. Nor do I wish to expose myself to the potential dangers and threats that this situation brings about. I think most of us "mature" folks know better than to have "conversations" with "teens", etc., but you never know based on a profile.

The security of this site is gone, and so am I. Unfortunately there are a few people on this site that I would like to maintain contact with. You know who you are. If you would like me to have another contact email for you, please private message me with the information.

If any of you come up with another site to go to, I hope you come in here and post it.

Good luck to everyone!

I don't think we should have to leave.
I feel a protest will put the message across better.
Let eons know how you feel.
They seem to think it is a small group that doesn't like this change.
Let's show them different.

I totally agree ... Eons has betrayed us in the worst way. I might have been OK with going down to a reasonable age, like 40 ... but 13 ??!!! ... Eons has lost its "mind," and will lose a LOT us because of it.

Thanks Dell, you are speaking for most of us! Tried to locate the "seniorcity.com" site but was unable to do so. Most importantly for me, i do not want to lose the friends I have made here on Eons. Please someone let me know where to go. Let's not give up, let's just move to a morestable site. Still optimistic, won't give you all up.

I totally agree. I joined this group so I didn't have to compete with the younger than 50's folks. I guess the dollar always wins over common sense!!
