With all this talk of change i hope that it will not turn you away from eons or this group. some people are leaving and some are staying and some are closing thier groups to the younger generation by making it private. i feel this way i don't mind younger people joining my groups i have nothing to hide from them. if one does join and become very rude then that's a horse of a diffrent color he or she will be blocked and deleted from the group. If 18 year olds and up can go and die for my country and for me, then he or she is old enough to be in any of my groups. All this talk and what we are going to do is crazy Eons don't belong to us this almost reminds me of when whites didn't want blacks in any of thier groups or stores or resturants it's about age true enough but it's also call segregation. So i have said enough and if you all feel that i am wrong then please reply with your opinion.

I've just read Classylind's opinion of the new age regulation. While I feel that younger people might be acceptable in many of the groups, I also feel very uncomfortable about having them imposed on me. For example, a few days ago I received a message from someone 35 years old trying to sell me insurance, and two days ago I had to refuse a friendship invitation from a 13-year-old boy. I felt badly about doing this, a child that age should not go through the experience of a cold refusal. But my spare time is limited, and I cannot take time from my personal life and from the friends I have chosen to dedicate it to people I am really not at all interested in. So the new rule adversely affects both the members who joined under the original 50 year cutoff rule, and the new, younger members who are exposed to blunt and possibly hurtful rejections.
I do agreed with that about 13 yr olds i will also refuse them . Also i will refuse anyone that comes to this site and try to sell something They will get a warning not to do so and if they continue they will be blocked and deleted from this group and any other groups i have. Eons has put this burden upon us and i will abide by what they have done but i refuse to accept 13 yr olds and solictors in any of my groups .

I feel that I joined EONS for mature conversation, I don't really want to make small talk with some immature kids, but, some ar more adult I guess than we are.
EONS owns this group and can do what they want, even if I don't agree. But, after checking out some of the other groups, I still like EONS and my friends here the best.
