Home Handyperson

Hi everybody,
We have a new group on eons it is called home handyperson. It is just been started and is trying to get off the ground as a group. It is a place to share and get tips on how to fix things around the house. This looks like a place where we can save some money and help others to save money as well. The manager has asked me to spread the word. This looks like something the frugal over 50 group can use.

I am a very handy person at home. I can fix just about anything found in a home. Would love to join this group!

That group doesn't seem to be very active now. How about popping over to the "Be Your Own Boss" group view link to talk about how to use your skills to earn money!?

Lots of us have skills. We just need to network to figure out how to use those skills to actually make money! Tell us about what you can do, and figure out how to market those skills.

Best of luck!

For everyone's information, the Home Handyperson group is very much alive. It is only active when someone has a problem or needs advice. The rest of the time we keep our mouths shut and mind our business, thank you.

Whoa Sebastian! I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. I just thought that some home-handy-people might be interested in also joining a new group that is focused on being your own boss -- which seems a perfect fit for anyone with the skills to be handy around the house. If anyone here, including you, has any info they'd like to share about marketing a home-based business or making money with these extremely handy skills, please drop by. It just seems that being frugal and being able to earn a living in a hard economy by being self-employed can go hand-in-hand.

In the meantime, I love this group too. Lots of very useful info! Thanks to everyone.

The Be Your Own Boss groups sounds just fine for those who are inclined that way.

Every group has different levels of activity that is determined by what sort of group it is. Some are very active and some are only active when the need arises. I am sure you would not care to have your group described as "too active". Just saying. ;-) laffin an laffin
