Ok, now I have to get a macro lens. Great picture Labrys. Lucy looks happy to pose. What setting did you use? portrait?
Yep, portrait, fstop 2.8, iso was 200 with no flash. The great thing about the macro lens is that you can shoot an available light picture with a faster shutter speed. In editing I made some minor adjustments on contrast and boosted the color ever so slightly, but essentially this is the photo that was shot in my camera.
Great shot. How about some flower closeups? What is your smallest f stop? What is your closest focusing distance? Can I have it? lol

Lol flower closeups will be coming in Spring. This is Minnesota after all;-) Lowest F/stop is 2.8, and closest focusing distance is .31 meters. It's auto focus with a manual override. Best part is that all the focusing goes on inside, so if I'm photographing butterflies or insects, the movement won't run them off.
