Grumble! mumble! grouse! snort! grump! harumph! I hate mornings! Positively despise getting up before breakfast! No doubt about it...Haven't had my daily infusion of coffee yet...It's cold out, aha! but the sun is shining...I'll have to ponder whether that is improvement or not!
And beings I slept late again this morning, I wonder if I should change the name of the News...mid-morning?...the noonday?...the sometime today?..the
whenever today...the irregular today? Us olders get that way some times...I'll just have to ponder on that!
Will you G&G's wait a minute! I hustling here and trying to get stuff started...We'uns gonna have brunch today...Don't know what we gonna feed ya'all but I'll...oh, how bout an omelet...and buttered toast and fresh berry salad? topped with home made whipped cream...yeah yeah, you can use your mugs...tain't a fancy serving...just home style! Get your hands off them berries...Broom is a snitch, first class! She tells me and I smack your paws! Oh well, go ahead...eat...theres plenty for all mine! And in emom's world there aint' no calories! I think I just said something profound! amazing! lololol

Why is it that, for the gals, nice warm fuzzy robes come with 3/4 length sleeves and warm gowns come with long sleeves?
Why would they put two outside doors in the kitchen? I let the dogs out one...hear a bark to be let in and have to check two doors for the critter...
I have a new puppy coming today..I hope...Still waiting...the side roads are very bad in spots...icy.

Did you G&G's see the Annie's new Coffee To Go shop in WHVV? It has neon lites and everything fancied up for all of mine...lol...Fair warning, this is one funny lady! Hmmm, how do I put this and still remain 'politically' correct? lolol She is not the most graceful person in the world! (Her friends call her Gracie for two reasons which you can learn on your own). I love you Annie...you make me laff even on my darkest days!

HEADS UP...I am not sure the Chat box in VNV is still secure...just remember when using any chat box, even the private section, can still be hacked.
Another thing. If you post or reply and change your mind about the item, ask the manager or moderators to delete it for you...No problem...it's easy to do and only takes a second.
Be sure and check out the new 'oldie' radio station on VNV...I haven't had a chance to check it out yet..these flying fingers have been sort of busy...
And I love you fly G&G's. I see tictactoe being played over the house again...somebody's trying to do a star...having problems up there keeping the pattern...winds must be fierce up there today but visibility is good...We won't tell anybody they are having fun up there, getting in their air time...I sure do envy them tho...
I am too old to fly one of those lovely and graceful birds, but my heart, my soul and my spirit can...

Well, good morning all...Welcome home, all my dear ones...huggies! I know, I know, I am up and trundling (my favorite word) around the kitchen trying not to step on or trip over the critters...Don't be too shocked. I occasionally get up before breakfast. Don't like it, but there it is!
We're having scrambleds this morning and home fries. Biscuits are almost done...Coffees hot and fresh! Take your coats off...set a spell...be at ease. You are safe in my home. You are among others who understand, share your burdens. I offer a warm comforting hug. May your heart be healed of it's anger and pain...the emom loves you and cares.
Enuf of that mushy stuff! Get you paws off that...we have to say grace for the good things we do have...friends, a roof, companionship, and understanding. Be thankful for the kindnesses we receive. Most of all, to be thankful that we have the ability to be kind to one another. There I go again, getting all mushy! Sorry...lololol
G&G's, Did you all see my apology yesterday? It was sincerely meant. I would never knowingly lie to you or feed you false information...Like I've told you, don't have a good enuf memory to lie then try to remember it...I have enuf trouble with just remembering anything! I think I just made an 'old person' remark! Nah, I wouldn't do that, would I?
I don't remember if I told you or not...I bought some new bed pillows a while back, nice soft fluffy pillows. Got home and realized that I had forgotten to get new pillow cases...well, ratz! Anywho, I tuned out the dogs except for the "let me out's". I was trying to get the checks made out for the bills.
Didn't pay any attention to what they were doing at all...Got the bills all paid up...Turned around to get up and go to the mail box...Talk about your basic fuzzy snow blanket. One of my critters, who shall remain nameless because it could have been any one of the five, had decided that the pillow was vicious and presented a possible threat to the rest of the household. I had large hole in pillow! Stuffing all over the floor at the foot of the bed mixed in with the feathers from another pillow that had become aggressive some time in the past.
Puppy! The lady who was to pick him up had a bad asthma attack and couldn't go get him so it is still iffy as to whether I will get him today or not. It seems like you are holding your breath forever when you are waiting for a good thing to arrive. I know when the time is right a puppy will arrive, I will cry, hug it tight then grump at it for a while. lol There I go again...getting mushy...I love little ones tho.
Oh, I forgot to tell you that I got to see two wee little baby goats at Anna's. They were the cutest little things...a black with white and a red with white... both little girls about six hours old...Making baby goat sounds. Oh dear! Stop that emom, next thing you know....Hmmm! I have over an acre....
I see that moderator Christine, USAFVeteran is missing from the position as of yesterday. I hope that her loss is nothing serious. She is an ok lady...her knowledge and experience will be sadly missed.
Almost done...Annie is telling her Trouble story today at her coffee shop in whvv. Got some long distance calls last nite and some fun and funny conversations. Charming 'buddy' has been posting anonymous messages on my blog. KK made a reply and the next thing you know, I will be referee! Gotcha!
Guess that's all for now.

MY FREEDOMS: MY FREEDOM OF SPEECH 08/06/01
Over the past several days, a concerted effort has been made to control what is printed in the Mountain News.
I have been banned from a chat box, removed from the post of moderator in a much loved group, and threatened with banishment from several other groups.
Ban away! I will speak out for 'mine'! I will not be muzzled or brought to heel because of a minor disagreement over timing!
I have violated no rules of conduct by eons standards but I know that managers can and will do as they wish. I have no problem with that.
I am just so sorry that I will lose direct contact with the ones I care about so very much. I will however publish the News in my blog and in whvv!
I will speak!
