How to handle weights when you have bone spurs

I have bone spurs in my shoulders and heels and lifting weights and doing curls or lifting to the side or overhead hurts. Has anyone else this problem and what modified workout can you do to get around this problem. I can not do any heavy impact aerobics either.

I had a bone spur removed from my left heel, my right shoulder, and recently my right elbow. Each bone spur limited my ability to do what I want to do. There was no way for me to get around them without surgical intervention. Restoring my quality of life was well worth the pain and recovery time.
