One last thing and goodnight

Sorry folks for bothering you again but it is two thirty AM and time for me to finally get to bed. Yes, I am a night owl and up half the night but only if my dogs allow it. These three lay at my feet each night while I type away to my group friends and usually wait for my AOL to say, "goodbye" before getting excited that we can all go to bed now. But sometimes Princess, the black setter/lab decides to hurry me along. On those nights she will come over to my keyboard and place her long strong nose under my hand and lift it off the keys. Then she stares into my eyes and I just know she is saying. "That's enough. It's time for bed."

Well, that is what she just now did, so I wanted to share that with you before I said good night. Princess says to tell you goodnight, too. :-)

How about you. Do any of your dogs do something amusing when they want you to go to bed?

Yes, my Kiana, the little beagle, will get up on the couch along side of my desk and try to climb up on the desk to get my attention. She has this little quiet whine that for some reason makes me do just what she wants me to do. She is the only one that sleeps with me on the bed. She knows what she wants.....and gets it.

My cat Beau jumps up on the back of the chair, meows...then runs into the bedroom. He does this repeatedly until I give in and go to bed.
My Greyhound starts walking around in the room and keeps looking at me...like..."Come on...it's late!" The others take naps before going to bed. Then they sleepily walk into the bedroom and plop into bed when I turn in.

Chance, our male pit bull, will tug at my robe or night gown, then go stand by the bedroom door and look back over his shoulder at me. If I am in the computer room, he will stand by the bedroom door and cry...it sounds like he's saying "Mamma".

Why is it that our dogs have the good sense to go to bed at a decent hour and we don't?

Babylove will go back and forth untill she knows not listening so she will climb upon me and get behind me and lay dpwn and kick me till i get up or she goes to sleep.
