Hi everyone!
I am a newbie here, and thought I'd introduce myself. I have been quilting for three years, and have found my passion. I bought a sewing machine three years ago and started a book cover business almost immediately. I had found my niche! Then I taught myself quilting -- living in the heart of the Appalachians and i had no one to teach me (lived here a year at that time) so I taught myself. I am a traditionalist and love piecing quilts rather than applique. I spend 2-5 hours per day sewing. I am disabled, and it is something I can do and not hurt!
My husband and I are now both professional quilters. He quilts them on our machine quilter -- all skill and no computer involved. He takes in quilts from all over, plus he quilts my creations as well.
We both cross stitch, and I also crochet. We love textiles, and especially fabric.
Thanks for having me here!
