Hi my name is Joe,This is long,1976 Spinal Menningitis(ate a hole in my aorta valve) in and out and back in hospital,1976 1st Open Heart,valve replacement pigs
at Stanford,10 person to recive a pigs heart valve at Stanford,Palo Alto,Calif.by Dr.N Shumway..1977 Stroke(still today my right side is weak),numerous blood infections(6 weeks in the hospital)for each one..1984 BLOOD CLOT lower right leg.
1984 2nd Open Heart Valve replacement(pigs) at Mercy General Hospital.1984-1988 more blood infections,makes you think are pigs valves infections.....
1988 another Open Heart this time a mechanical(St. Jude) valve..With a mechanical heart valve you have to take a blood thinner and have it checked once a month(pro-time)...1990s I have been OK.2005 Arthritis in the lower spine,thank you stroke back in 1977..ALL THOSE YEARS WITH A LIMP.....
