Spicy Roasted Bell Pepper sauce...

This is very good and goes well with fish but other dishes also...

1 1/2 lbs. red bell peppers
1/2 cup toasted almonds
6 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoon tomato paste
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Char peppers under broiler until blackened on all sides. Place in paper bag until cool about ten minutes. Peel and seed. Place peppers in processor along with almonds and remaining ingredients. Store in jar and in refrigerator.

Carol;
Boy Oh does this look good to me!
I'm betting if I was to pull out one of the many hot sauce bottles I've got saved up under the sink, it would fit the sauce just right!
I'm wondering if you can get away with fermenting this mix much like Tabasco is done, I'm betting the almonds tomato, and cayenne really add some flavort to this mix.
