1 There is vastly more nothing than something. Roughly 74 percent of the universe is “nothing,” or what physicists call dark energy; 22 percent is dark matter, particles we cannot see. Only 4 percent is baryonic matter, the stuff we call something.
2 And even something is mostly nothing. Atoms overwhelmingly consist of empty space. Matter’s solidity is an illusion caused by the electric fields created by subatomic particles.
3 There is more and more nothing every second. In 1998 astronomers measuring the expansion of the universe determined that dark energy is pushing apart the universe at an ever-accelerating speed. The discovery of nothing—and its ability to influence the fate of the cosmos—is considered the most important astronomical finding of the past decade.
4 But even nothing has a weight. The energy in dark matter is equivalent to a tiny mass; there is about one pound of dark energy in a cube of empty space 250,000 miles on each side.

Clinton's supporters not yet reconciled to vote for Obama
WASHINGTON: In an ominous sign for Democratic nominee Barack Obama's campaign, a new survey has found that Hillary Clinton's supporters may not cast their ballot for the African American candidate in the November presidential election.
A week after Clinton made a public show of unity with Obama after being trounced in a racially devisive contest for the party ticket, the survey suggests supporters of the New York senator are increasingly less likely to follow her lead.
A growing number of Clinton supporters say they may stay home in November instead of casting their ballot for Obama, who hopes to be the first black-American president, a clear sign the party has yet to coalesce around the Illinois senator four weeks after the most prolonged, bitter primary race in modern American history came to a close.
The number of Clinton supporters who plan to defect to John McCain's camp is down from one month ago, but in what could be an ominous sign for Obama as he seeks to unify the party, a growing number of them say they may not vote at all, according to a new survey from CNN and the Opinion Research Corporation.
In a CNN/ORC survey conducted in early June, entirely before the New York senator officially ended her White House bid, 22 per cent of Clinton supporters said they would not vote at all if Obama was the party's nominee.
Now close to a third say they will stay home. In all, only 54 per cent of Clinton backers say they plan on voting for Obama.

What to do?
How does one cope with a bishop who is judgemental and advising differently than the advice always given by the Prophet and General Authorities? Things being said are making us struggle to continue attending our ward. We can't afford the fuel to travel to a different ward. How long can we continue going when we feel judged to the point that we no longer even feel the spirit in our ward?
I know you can't really help with this. I guess I just needed to blow off a little steam. I keep reminding myself and my family that we go because the church is true, not because of the people, yet this is a really hard one because it's the bishop.
When I first started going to church I thought I'd have a hard time adjusting to attending regularly, yet found it really easy. I felt a wonderful warm spirit every time I was there. 10 years and 3 bishops later I keep looking for that same spirit but rarely feel it.
I know you can't really help with this. I guess I just needed to blow off a little steam. I keep reminding myself and my family that we go because the church is true, not because of the people, yet this is a really hard one because it's the bishop.
